Long before you commit to a job search and indeed begin putting together a CV, it is likely you will have quite a number of questions which need answering. Indeed you may even be relocating to a different part of the country, let alone planning to move practice and there can be so many unknowns that it’s difficult to know where to start. Therefore pick up the telephone to us and you will be directed to the appropriate consultant. Your consultant will then, in the strictest confidence, talk  you through vacancy and salary prospects and answer any queries, questions and/or reservations which you may have. The collective expertise, experience and knowledge of our consultants is second to none and we pride ourselves on providing  career advice which is well informed and up to date, as well as straight forward, honest and practical.

Modus operandi

Once registered, we will of course inform you of all appropriate vacancies in your preferred geographical area. However, as far as many firms are concerned, their door is always open to ambitious lawyers with the right attributes if they feel they can make a positive contribution and add value. In these cases, we could, with your permission, make a discrete approach, but only disclose your identity in the event that they wished to see a full CV. We pride ourselves on being a pro active rather than a reactive organisation – but our approach will always be governed by your instructions.

Our advice

We recognise that a crucial part of our service is imparting career planning and advice. Because, by definition, our job entails working closely with the legal job market day in-day out, we are abundantly aware of trends in salary and who the main players are in your particular area.
